C To identify, develop and engage a small Community, or social network, of like-minded individuals. The small community or social network may be connected within a physical community or through a virtual environment. Sustainable practices within this community address all aspects of the human condition throughout the life cycle. The emphasis is on the collective participation of individuals possessing skills and talents such as (but not limited to) advocates, craftspersons, counselors, scientists, artists, musicians, healers, farmers, poets, laborers, and professionals.
R To identify, conserve and use wisely readiliy available Resources within the community or social network. The goal is to rely primarily on local knowledge and information, local technologies, local goods and services, local renewable materials, and energy efficient equipment and systems.
E To identify, develop, advocate for, and sustain community Education and training. The goal is to openly and freely share the educational and training resources available within the community to develop skills and abilities within the group for the benefit of the individual and the community or social network.
A To Advocate for social justice, environmental justice, legal rights, individual empowerment, physical well being, mental well being, and economic well being within the community or social network, and for other communities.
T To develop a system of Trade based primarily on sharing and bartering products and services within the community, and secondarily, outside communities (or social networks) to provide income and additional resources for the benefit of the community and its members. The goal is to develop the community, or social network, as a self-sustaining unit within a larger community, or otherwise connected to but outside the larger community. The ultimate goal is to minimize (or eliminate) the individual's and community's reliance on commercial credit, and to redefine the concept of "wealth" as a cooperative/collective/community concept to provide for the health, welfare, comfort, security, pursuit of happiness, and survival of all community participants.
E To develop a community or social network of individuals Empowered to be self-reliant (within the individual's abilities), happy, fulfilled, engaged, and compassionate ensuring the cohesiveness, security and survival of the community or social network as a self-sustaining entity providing for the individual's needs throughout the life cycle. Another goal is to facilitate the development of a communal "property right" (or collection of communal property rights) to be protected and applied for the benefit of the community.
